Of Countdowns and Avoiding Stores

It’s that time of year again, a time when turkeys go running for the hills. They flee in droves with much gobbling and irritated feather fluffing, but they survive. They will watch you this week with their beady little eyes. They will watch and they will see and when you least expect it, they will strike back against those that ate their brethren. The turkeys are coming…

But let’s talk about something far more concerning. Guys, it’s already the 23rd of November! Where the hell did this year go? Why is it November already? THANKSGIVING IS THIS WEEK!!

I don’t even feel ready for it. My stomach does not feel prepped for the mass amounts of mash potatoes, ham and pie I’ll inevitably consume during this time. I foresee quite the carb coma in my future.

And stores right now are crazy! If there is one thing I absolutely loath about this time of year, it’s that the grocery stores that were already a zoo to begin with break down into full omg-omg-the-animals-are-loose-halpz! mode and shopping becomes a suicide mission in which you either get your groceries and make it out alive or you get run over by a cart and it’s game over. And don’t even get me started about the increase of bad driving around here… If I’ve forgotten anything on my grocery list, I’ll be shopping for it in the wee hours of the morning when the tigers and bears are still sleeping.

And in other exciting news, only 14 days until The Bonded is unleashed upon the world!

I’ll be receiving my first batch of print orders this week to sign and have ready when December 7th rolls around. I’m really excited to have people start reading it finally!

Want to get your own copy? The ebook is available for preorder on Amazon, Smashwords and B&N! I’ll also be opening up paperback and hardcover orders sometime this week and will post links once those are available.

Hope you all have a wonderful Turkey Day! 🙂
