It’s been a while, dear readers, so I’ve crawled my way out of the writing cave to give you some progress updates! Three months ago, I decided to dedicate myself to a new writing schedule which was very successful, even if it meant I wasn’t updating this poor, neglected blog as often (or at all) as I’d planned. At the end of the day, talking about writing is great, but actually writing is better. If getting a book done means stepping away from my blog and social media for a while, then it’s all worth it in the end.
So, on to the news!
What’s in a name…
The previously untitled final entry to The Allseer Trilogy now has a name! If you’ve been following me on other platforms (Twitter, Facebook) than you’ve probably seen it by now and also got to follow along with the struggle of picking a name. Choosing the final name in a trilogy isn’t easy, especially when you need it to fit the other titles in the series and also have meaning. The search for the perfect title led to quite an adventure and hours and hours scouring the word filled depths of the internet until my eyes bled. My boyfriend joined in the hunt (something I’m sure he regrets), but eventually, we settled on a title that I think fits not only the series, but the events of the final book.
By the end of this month, I will be wrapping up the writing process for The Fated! While this is really exciting, there is still plenty of work to do. Starting August 1st, I will begin editing The Fated. Until I’ve got a copy of the book in hand that I can say I’m happy with, there will not be a release date. However, I’m hoping for The Fated to come out early December. Of course, this is all hinging on how smoothly things come together. As always, more information regarding preorders will be available closer to the release date! Keep an eye out as more information will be available in the coming months.
I am both incredibly excited and incredibly sad to see my trilogy coming to an end. This has been quite an adventure and I have learned so much over the past few years and gained a number of amazing readers. While I’m ready to move on to other projects, this trilogy will always have a very special place in my heart and I’m so glad I’ve got to share this world with so many people. I hope to share it with a lot more in the coming years. To all those still following along and anxiously awaiting The Fated, you’re amazing and wonderful and I could not have gotten this far without you.
As a big thank you, I wanted to share a glimpse of what will become the front cover for The Fated!
I hope you’re all as excited as I am!
