Hello everyone and welcome to a long overdue blog post.
It is officially March 1st and if you’re anything like me, you’re wondering where February went. It felt like it was over before it really had a chance to begin and if I was feeling behind before, I’m feeling doubly so now.
You may also have noticed that it is March and there hasn’t been any new information about The Fated, and that is where the title of this blog comes in.
There really isn’t any good way to put this, so I’m just going to say it – The Fated is being delayed.
I had a lot change in my life at the end of December, and it has been an uphill battle ever since, one that I’m still in the process of overcoming. I’ve made the very big decision to return to Oregon at the end of April, which means I’ve got seven weeks to get all my ducks in a row before I return home. After I transition out of my apartment, there will be a span of a few weeks where I will simply not have the means to work any further on The Fated.
I was really hoping to be in a better spot and have a proof in hand at this point in time, but with all the preparation involved with moving and keeping up with my day job, I’ve had to reevaluate my goals and what I can reasonably accomplish in the time I have, while also keeping myself mentally, physically, and emotionally afloat through this process.
The good news for all of my readers in Oregon (which is the vast majority of you,) is that you’ll be able to get your (signed!) copies of The Fated direct from me and neither party will have to deal with the evil demon known as shipping. I look forward to seeing you all again and having you be part of my writing journey once more. My Oregon family is what keeps me going and all the continued love and support through the endless ups and downs has meant the world to me.
The Fated, while not quite ready, is in a good place. I can’t wait to share it with you all, but I also want to release something that I can be proud of, and it just isn’t quite where I need it to be yet with everything else going on in my life, and I don’t want all that extra noise tainting something that I should be incredibly happy and excited about.
Once I get settled back in Oregon, I will have more solid information as far as when you can expect to see The Fated, as well as when you can expect to see fresh edits and covers for The Bonded and The Cursed.
I will be temporarily taking down my store on this site until the move is complete, so if you’re needing copies, you can find them on Amazon.
Thank you all for your love and patience. <3
