A Long Road and New Beginnings

Hello everyone!

It is I, that author that disappeared for a long time and has finally returned to this little neglected corner of the internet.

In my absence, a whole heck of a lot of life changes happened; some good, some bad, some unexpected, and some that could only be called a dream come true.

I returned to the land of my birth, and am once again calling Oregon home. I’m enjoying a stupidly beautiful fall, rainy days, and blissfully cold temperatures and if it could stay October forever, that’d be great.

With everything settling into place, it felt like the right time to give this ‘ol blog a refresh. It has been very neglected and long since lost its purpose, so I’ve scrapped all the old content and am starting anew.

And the first thing I’m starting with is a ton of updates about the Allseer Trilogy!

The Allseer Trilogy

If you followed this blog before, you’ll know that I’m an author. I’ve spent the last 10+ years of my life working on a trilogy, and that trilogy is now complete! Well, sort of…

While the trilogy is “finished”, it has been such a long span of time between the release of the first book and the last book that my writing style changed quite a bit, my editing has vastly improved, and I have a clearer idea of the direction of the series as a whole. With that, I felt it necessary to do a reedit of The Bonded and The Cursed, and am currently in the process of bringing those up to date.

It’ll be a fairly quick process. I’m already halfway done with the edits for The Bonded, and expect to have everything wrapped up in the coming weeks.

With the new edits comes updated covers for all three books, and I’m very excited to see them in print!

Once the edits are done, and the new covers are in place, I’ll be doing a re-release of the trilogy. I’ll do another update when I have a date set, but expect it to be very, very soon.

What’s Next?

With the Allseer Trilogy winding down and coming to an end, what’s next?

Well… a lot.

I have a whole list of books I want to write that have been not-so-quietly simmering on the back burner for far, far too long.

Before jumping into another project, I will be stretching my creative wings and getting a few short stories written. I will most likely end up posting them here, so keep an eye out!

After that, I will be moving on to my next big project – Of Blood and Briar. This will be a full length fantasy novel based on a short story I wrote many, many moons ago. Unlike the Allseer Trilogy, this will be aimed at an adult audience. Expect assassins, ancient soul hording death gods, and sweet, sweet revenge. Right now, this is in the world building stages, but as I make further progress you can expect lots of updates!

Outside of writing projects, I’m also working on getting a graphic design website up and running. It is something I have always really enjoyed, and I’d love to share that skill set with my fellow authors. I’ll have more information about that coming soon.

As you can see, no shortage of projects to be found here. I will be making bi-weekly updates to this blog to keep you all well informed of what is on the horizon.

As always, thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful week!
